Nature has provided a veritable magical pantry in the plants which grow all over the planet. Since ancient times these plants have been used in the magical practice of causing change by natural ( albeit little -understood) powers. The medicinal properties are fairly well -known but in this workshop, we will explore the magical or spiritual properties of herbs and how to use them.
This 45 -minute -1-hour workshop will give the participants an understanding of a variety of well known common kitchen herbs. and their magical use. Magical herbalism is the study of the herbs, gender, planet, element, deity and folk name. Based on these demographics we determine the herbs powers, ritual usage and magical usage. In this workshop, everyone will get to choose one item to create dealing with a magical herb that can be used in a practical way. This workshop includes a 15-minute lecture, a 15-minute lesson on the usage and 30 minutes create time. At the end of this workshop each participant will have a magical item they can take home for further use. The workshop is an additional $5 each for materials.
