This week, I've been asked three times for "that really great thing you wrote about essential oils a while ago." While I would like to think that I've written a couple of great things, it turns out that this piece, originally just jotted down as a Note on Facebook for myself to reference when people ask me questions, is what everyone was asking for. So...here it is, in a more accessible (and shareable) Blog version.*

The Power of a Poultice
Many years ago, when I was in herb school, I learned the power of the poultice from fellow student and dear friend Cricket (Teri Owens). Tonight, I put it to work again...and inadvertently created a tasty carrot salad at the same time.
Grated Carrots, grated Ginger, and infused Black Tea, Echinacea and Goldenseal joined forces with some honey. The target: an impending boil. One of those big humdingers that isn't squeezable, but you just know it's going to splorch eventual

It's officially official! Herbal Education Inc. (aka Teri Owens, Hetty MacDowell, Gina Marcin, and Nicole White) is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 not-for-profit as an Educational group! So many big hugs and gratitude for my Sisters letting me ride this ride with them, and to Dave White for all the paperwork help.
